Artist statement
Fascinated by wild places, sea, deserts and mountains: Tim finds images to paint in many places. Travel, photos, sketches and even poems can spark off a painting. Mainly watercolour but pen and ink, gouache too. Sometimes a city or local scene can force him to look again and see it afresh by trying to capture it in paint.
