Tin is a beautiful mailable material which is easy to work using simple tools, pushing and pulling it into different shapes and forms. I work the metal to create 3D effects which are then enhanced with layers of transparent glass paints, cold enamels and crystals. The tin decorations that I make are light weight and delicate and it feels natural to make stars, butterflies and flowers from this shining, glittering substance.
I join the decorations to thin wires so that they move when used as decorations.
The price range for these small tin decorations ranges from £8.50 for a butterfly or flower to £50 for a full garland
