Katy Jackson is a fulltime artist and illustrator based in Exeter.
Katy creates limited edition prints based on nature, whether it is in the city or countryside. Using copper plates, she creates the image using aquatints, painting on layers of acid using a spitbite technique. When the plate is inked up and printed from this creates atmospheric and dramatic landscapes. She can often be spotted in the Double Elephant printroom at Exeter Phoenix.
Katy also enjoys painting outdoors ‘en plein air’ (in one sitting). Creating fluid oil paintings of the local environment around Devon and Cornwall.
Katy has previously exhibited at Woolwich Print Fair, Wimbledon Art Fair and Chelsea Untitled Exhibition.
Prices range from £45 – £350 and prints are available framed or unframed.
