I am a painter and designer working mainly on fabric producing Visual Wearable Useable art. I have used my paintings to print onto these velvet cushions which I make myself using cotton linings, concealed zips and feather inners. The covers are washable and are 40cms (£38) or 45 cms square (£45). The backs are a plain complementary colour. They can be bought in person from stock at Red5artstudio or sent by post. Commissions for different sizes/colour backs take 2 weeks.
I work from Red5artstudio in Galmpton Creek where you can see the above designs plus many more. I also put my paintings onto glass chopping boards (weird but true!) and small zip purses etc – plus Red5 is full of local artists work. Open Fridays 2-5 and Saturdays 12-5 or ring for access.
