DEVON Artists – Summer Exhibition

Devon Now! A celebration of Devon artists, right now.

1 – 14 August, TAAG, 4-5 Northumberland Pl, Teignmouth TQ14 8DD

The exhibition will be open daily, 10am – 5pm.

As this is a shared exhibition, we ask participating artists to help support the running of the gallery:

We ask for a contribution of either a full day or part-days across the exhibition period
Stewarding is also a great opportunity to meet visitors and connect with other artists

To apply, you will need to submit:

Only Devon Artist Network members may apply. If you are an artist working or based in Devon and would like to join Devon’s largest artist community you can sign up to become a member here.
While you may submit up to 3 works, only 1 artwork is guaranteed to be selected, depending on space
No refunds will be issued if fewer works are selected than submitted
All fees contribute to gallery hire and the costs of running the exhibition
We reserve the right not to select work that does not meet DAN and TAAG guidelines for suitability within a public space. In this instance, no refunds will be given
Artists are responsible for delivering and collecting artwork on the allocated dates. Storage is not available.
Set-up, Take-down & Exhibit Requirements: Set-up will usually (tbc) be 4.30 – 7pm on a Friday evening (no earlier), and take-down will start at 3pm on the closing day of the hire.
All 2D artwork must be hung on the walls and display panels using only the gallery hanging system. Work
must be prepared in advance with D rings and cord for hanging. Screws, nails or other fixings are not to be used.
Due to space limitations, the maximum size for artworks is 100cm x 100cm, including frames.
Any works sold will be deducted 20% commission. Payments will be made by bank transfer – we aim to do this within 28 days of the end of the exhibition.

Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis, so early submission is recommended.
