Artist statement

I enjoy the use of vibrant colour in my work. I paint both abstract and figurative (mainly landscape)using acrylics. I particularly enjoy painting water in its different forms. I am very interested in how the viewer's emotional response to a piece of art and love to hear how it can feel to them.

Extended Bio

I am a retired teacher and am so happy to have extended opportunity now to return to my first love -that of the creative arts. With a studio-cabin I am now able to spend as long as I like doing what I so enjoy.
