Artist statement
Working exclusively with vintage hand tools, I bend, cut and weld the tools together to form life sized representations of native animals and birds. I'm particularly inspired by the bird life seen along the Exe Estuary. Once completed, my pieces are allowed to rust naturally, giving a deep coloured patina before being sealed with a natural wax.
