Artist statement
Tweeny, Julia & Nicola met while teaching at The Arts University, Plymouth. Tweeny’s series of raw clay works explore themes of narrative, memory & time. Julia blends photography & nature in portraiture, landscape & still life. Nicola draws from myth & place, exploring diverse processes of drawing, stitching, photography & collage to create unique work.

Tweeny van Mierlo
Tweeny is a practising ceramicist who runs courses at her Ocean Studio Pottery, at the Royal William Yard, Plymouth.
Her work is held in collections worldwide.
