Artist statement
I paint impressionistic seascapes and landscapes in acrylic or oils; inspired by the Devon and Somerset coastlines and local farmland and Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks. My style is loose and captures the movement of the seas and the light across the moorlands
Refreshments are available with seating and a riverside view.

I live in Devon and paint seascapes and landscapes, inspired by the coastlines of Devon and Somerset and views of local farmland and the Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks
Sketching, drawing and photographing whilst out walking, I then use the work as reference for larger abstract works in acrylic or oil plus, pencil or ink markings in my “old piggery” studio
My large seascapes capture the sense of movement and the power of the sea; my smaller landscapes reflect the moody skies and scenes across local farmland and the moors.
I have exhibited at Tiverton Art Society Annual Spring and Summer exhibitions and The Burton at Bideford Friends' Exhibition.
