Artist statement
I’m an oil painter that loves to paint pleinair immersed in the stunning landscape of the Blackdown Hills where I live . We are spoilt here with so much inspiration , the winding River Otter , grazing cows and sheep and rolling hills . If not painting inland then being just half an hour to the coast I paint the beach and seascapes .
Extended Bio
I paint local scenes working predominantly enpleinair. Living in a small village in the beautiful Blackdown Hills . my subjects include meandering lanes hilltop views , grazing livestock and the winding River Otter . Being not too far from the coast I also paint boats , seascapes and beach scenes . when the weather is too wet or windy I paint still life and interiors in my warm and cosy kitchen .
Im holding a painting from life Oil painting workshop on the 11 th September .
