Rachael Bennett Bio

Rachael Bennett is an artist interested in the liminal places within the natural world - those indeterminate spaces where different elements meet. She works with ambiguous scale and perspective, the macro within the micro, so that place and context ask questions. Rachael creates mixed media paintings where the materials used and the resulting image become one environment enabling the viewer to meditate and imagine their own story. She is keen to continue to push boundaries in her practise: a large aspect of this is experimental drawing techniques which feed into her paintings. Rachael is represented by several galleries and enjoys collaborative projects (she is a member of Contemporary Markmakers) and solo exhibiting opportunities.
