I first made pots at school, then at evening classes and then did ceramics at art school. I started using porcelain several years ago as it's a lovely clay to work with and, when fired, results in a very strong finished product. Most of my work is made to be used and the surface pattern is done with a mix of coloured slips (liquid clay) and underglaze colours.
I supply a few shops/galleries on a regular basis and am a member of Make Southwest.
