Mud is a highly creative visual artist, tattooist and musician. From his studio in Buckfastleigh, he tattoos and creates mixed media artwork.
His use of paint, graphite, watercolour and inks combine to create atmospheric figurative works and abstracted Devon landscapes.
Mud’s contemporary tattoo designs reflect his artistic style and technical expertise. He is interested in the relationship between art and tattoos and challenges the usual visual conventions of tattooing. He works in collaboration with clients to design and deliver works of art on the body.
His paintings have been shown in solo and shared exhibitions, most recently in Shropshire and London and have also been used for t-shirts, album covers, posters and flyers.
Mud is currently working on a graphic novel. A range of completed artworks and tattoo designs can be viewed at the gallery in Buckfastleigh.
