Lucy Rockliffe Artist
Ceramic hand built vessels and objects, figurative clay work and tiles
Lucy enjoys the expressive, responsive immediacy of clay hand-building in her various work. Coloured slip painting, oxides, firing, mark making and gesture into the surface of the clay are all processes inspired by the natural world and her drawing practice. Lucy’s passion for what is around her, from the natural world, the woods near her home to urban sketching and people both inform her ceramics and is an on going journey in creativity. Lucy is also a community artist bringing people together through art participation and collective artworks
She has more recently exhibited with the yearly Crows exhibition at Positive Lights Project, partook in an artist in residence exhibition at St. Martins Church Exeter in April 2026. She occasional does ceramic stalls at local fairs and Open Studios at the Whiteroom Creative space.
To see where you can see her work she posts on her calendar page website page.
