Hi, I'm a retired mental health nurse who decided to try my hand at soft pastels, with this in mind I purchased a set of pastels from a well known house supply shop (as I didn't know any different) suffice it to say I now use many other makes of soft pastels 🙂
It was only after a former colleague requested to buy one (which I thought was a pity purchase) that I thought I was any good. I now paint nearly all the time and it has become my great hobby and passion.
I am still a work in progress and it's a joy to push myself, finding out what I can do. In September I have been asked to run a few workshops! what can possibly go wrong?
