I’m interested in how history, legend and nature can inspire to imagine better futures. I like to explore unexpected connections between people and place, the natural world, animals, and folklore
My practice is rooted in place and community illuminating unexpected, unseen stories and unearthing buried secrets, myth, and legend. Place and community strongly influence my work which often delves into the seen and unseen using the medium of print. My practice is guided by principles of collaboration and supporting creative community involvement. I run a free community art group BayCAT (Community Art Torbay) @baycatart on instagram. In partnership with a poet and writer I deliver creative writing and drawing workshops.
I have a Masters (Distinction) in Illustration from Falmouth University. Find my work @seasewed on instagram
