Clare's creative practice explores the intersection between our inner world and the landscape around us, taking inspiration from the coast and moors. Her work includes a broad range of medium from collage and mixed media to work in watercolour, ink and acrylics. She also incorporates found objects in her work, both physically and as prompts during its development. Her recent work explores the feelings of being immersed in the landscape and the elements. Having completed a sabbatical in October 2025 in which she has travelled around the UK exploring wild places, she will be working on a new body of work that reflects her insights and discoveries.
