I am a modern quilter & textile artist working from my home studio in Exeter making handmade sustainable textiles to nurture & adorn. I work with natural materials to create textiles inspired by nature which will be calming & nurturing, providing a restorative element in your space.
I make handmade modern quilts for beds, throws, sofas, wall hangings, play mats & cushions as well as textile art pictures. I use natural, biodegradable materials, mainly linen & cotton, & reduce waste by using recycled materials & offcuts where possible. My products are made to be used & loved & to become part of the family.
I am influenced by my background in Landscape Architecture, particularly the study of restorative environments, as well as my love of nature, plants, gardens & the seasons. I use patterns & colours inspired by nature & natural processes with the aim of bringing a restorative element into your space, calming & nurturing.
