Devon Open Studios 2026
We are delighted to launch a new partnership with Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG) and The Beehive, Honiton as part of Devon Open Studios 2026.
This opportunity offers 10 artists the chance to exhibit their work across these two established venues, while also taking part in Devon Open Studios.
Selected artists will benefit from:
- Exhibition of work at THG and The Beehive
- A listing in the Devon Open Studios printed guide
- A dedicated artist page on the DAN website
- Inclusion in Devon Open Studios marketing and promotion
As part of this opportunity, the Devon Open Studios fee is offered at a reduced rate of £75 (50% discount), payable upon selection.

Theme: Emerging / Re-emerging
Creativity is rooted in change — reinvention, return and renewal. This is a wide-ranging theme, and we are interested in how artists interpret it through their materials, processes and ideas.
How to Apply
Please submit the following to [email protected]:
- Up to 5 images of your work (JPEG format, max 5MB each)
- Files should be clearly labelled with your name and artwork title
- Image list, including:
- Title
- Medium
- Size
- Price (if applicable)
- Short artist bio (approx. 100–150 words)
- Short statement (approx. 100–150 words) outlining your practice and how your work responds to the theme
- Contact details (email and phone number)

If you’ve already registered, you’re still eligible to apply. Successful applicants will have their fee adjusted to the reduced rate, and any difference already paid will be refunded.
Deadline: 7 April, midnight
DOS deadline extended to 15 April — plenty of time to apply and register.
Selection & Next Steps
Applications will be reviewed by a selection panel. If selected, you will be invited to:
- Register for Devon Open Studios via the online system
- Complete your listing (artist profile, images and details)
- Make the reduced participation payment of £75
Further information regarding exhibition logistics, installation and key dates will be provided following selection.
