Mayor of West Devon’s 2026 Charity Event
Appeal to artists
Some of you may be aware of me as an artist – I paint landscapes inspired by my local environment of Dartmoor.
This year my role also includes being the Mayor of West Devon. And my nominated charity is the Dartmoor Rescue Group – the attached page gives more details and activities of that Group.
I raise funds from several events during my year and I’m currently organising a Civic Charity Dinner, for the 17th April 2026, which will be attended by dignitaries from the South West.
During the Dinner some of my paintings will be raffled to raise funds for the DRG.
I am asking for your help and support using your skill as an artist
Would you be able to donate up to three pieces of original artworks, 7 x 5 inches, in your chosen medium? The subject will be your choice, landscape or portrait, and works can include your details, attached to the back. All works will be acknowledged and exhibited online prior to the event.
Your works will be raffled during the Dinner with all proceeds going to the DRG.
I do hope you can engage with this project and I would be grateful for any artworks received.
And please also spread the word to friends and colleagues who may wish to participate.
This will not only help a very worthy cause, but also promote your work to a wider audience.
