Artist statement
Alison lives and works by the sea in the lovely village of Shaldon. Her specialty is hand-built tea-light houses
made from porcelain, where the house becomes translucent when light is placed inside, almost always with a
cheeky seagull on the roof. She also makes electric table lamp houses, candles vases, pots, dishes, trays, wall
hanging art and decorations.
