Experience a weekend of outdoor art inspired by the plein air tradition, as the creative focus moves to the historic grounds of Torre Abbey, reviving the beloved community spirit of the Paignton Paint Out for a full day of open-air making.
The historic upper meadow will be transformed into an expansive open studio for our community Mass Paint Out, for absolutely everyone to participate and get creative outdoors. Whether you paint regularly, prefer sketching on a tablet, or have never taken your supplies beyond the kitchen table, you are welcome to bring your preferred materials and join in. To provide practical inspiration, still life and movement setups will be positioned across the landscape, alongside free art packs to encourage children and families to get outdoors and create together.

The Great Torre Abbey Paint Out takes over the seafront from 5th–6th September.
