Elston Farm offers trees, cows, vistas, even a derilict stone building. It’s all waiting to be drawn or painted. A range of materials will be provided, including a limited number of field easels. (Feel free to bring your own!) Experiment on location with us.

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this is your chance to connect with nature and sharpen your drawing skills in a unique setting. Bring your favorite drawing tools and get ready to capture the serene landscapes and farm life up close!

13th generation Devon farmer, Andy Gray, runs this 64 acre farm across the A377 from Creativity Acre. It is one of seven farms in the county being supported to design, implement, and evaluate silvopasture agroforestry systems: planting trees within pasture fields used by livestock.

Art-making here during the “If Trees Could Talk” festival offers an embodied experience of crossing boundaries – of practices, disciplines, and expectations.
