The Life Drawing sessions
Based on Dartmoor near Tavistock, our relaxed life drawing sessions are aimed at artists who are happy to be self-guided (not taught). Each week we have an optional theme, in case you feel like stepping outside your usual drawing comfort zone – this might be a suggestion to use a particular material (e.g. ink), or to focus on certain aspects of looking (e.g. ‘shapes’), or mark making (e.g. contours). It’s totally up to you if you want to follow the week’s prompt or not. During sessions we will be drawing a nude, professional life model, and the occasional dressed model, with a break midway when you can sample Saskia’s famous flapjacks (included in your ticket price) ????
