Artist statement
We have a passion for exploring ways to turn plain cloth into textile art. Using natural dying, painting, printing, cyanotype and many more techniques we stitch and enhance our fabrics to make gorgeous hangings, quilts, bags, books, cushions and gift items.
We love what we do and love to share.
Extended Bio
We are two friends sharing a passion for textile adventures. Our work explores a variety of ways to turn plain cloth into beautiful items using natural dying, painting, printing, cyanotype and literally anything we find interesting.
When we have achieved fabric that makes us smile we further embellish with hand and or machine stitch. With many years of experience we are able to produce a range of covetable items from books and bags, quilts and hangings, lampshades and cushions right through to jewellery and clothing.
We are enthusiastic about our practice and love to share our discoveries.
