Artist statement

My work explores the ecosystems of rural Devon, from plants to people. Currently, I am exploring the potentials of sustainable materials immediately available to me, particularly sources of dye/colour. I love the metaphors offered by patchwork, fabric, and nature. I use drawing, sewing, printmaking, and a range of traditional skills, including spinning.
