Winkleigh other, painting TorridgeSheila uses many mediums to create her loose, expressive style of painting, but always goes back to watercolour, enjoying the way it works on the paper, often "letting it do its own thing" and combining it with ink & granulation fluid to create certain effects and enhance particular areas.
Painting mainly without drawing, her pictures are often heavily influenced by how she feels and what around her inspires her at the time of painting. What started out as one thing can often turn into something different along the way because it felt right!
Sheila runs classes for painting without drawing & the use of other mediums with watercolour.
