I am a felt artist creating one-off pieces using a range of wet and dry felting techniques. Merino wool is used along with a range of silk fibres and upcycled silk fabric, all on a woollen base, to create brightly coloured, contemporary pieces of art.
I am particularly captivated and inspired by the changing moods of the sea and the coastal variations around the south west. Each unique piece has been lovingly created for pure enjoyment, to bring vitality and colour into a space.
Working in Exmouth, I am currently returning to my textile passion after a short break and hope to exhibit some new pieces soon. I am happy to take commissions.
