Since moving to Devon I have had the luxury of time and space to pursue my own work.
Inspiration currently comes from the landscape around me here in Devon and from my travels further afield.
A love of the sea and seashore finds its way into most of my work, either with colours, shapes, form or texture.
A fascination with finding things from the past, from fossils to historical artefacts, also influences some of my pieces. Surfaces can show erosion and fossil shapes from our Jurassic coastline but also traces of human habitation with patterns such as you may find on pieces of old, broken pottery found along the shore.
