I am a fourth year mature student at Glasgow School of Art studying painting and printmaking. I have just spent the past five months at MassArts University in Boston, Massachusetts,USA, on a student exchange programme. My practice is very much process led, involving repetition and reiteration together with layering of imagery in order to create the space and depth to evoke deeper subconscious thoughts and emotions. Working with clay, papers, prints, found objects and thread, I have explored what this experience has meant to me and evoked broader feelings of being an outsider.
