After initial training in Textile Design and periods of work making theatre props, wig making and pottery work, I studied Fine Arts majoring in Ceramics in New Zealand. On returning to the UK I bought a kiln and started making, drawing Inspiration from my garden and the wider Devon landscape. I make in a spontaneous, expressive way aiming to combine texture and pattern with an organic earthiness.
I mainly sell my work at ArtPlus Frames in Crediton and in Tiverton Museum and will be taking part in Devon Open Studios this year in Chulmleigh ...over the border in North Devon.
