I have always drawn and painted since an early age.I was formally trained at Grimsby School of Art,then finished a BA(Hons)in FineArt at Wimbledon School of Art.After working at the Royal Academy of Art,the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery I moved to Devon in 2005.I paint mainly in oils,and am inspired by the beautiful landscapes and seascapes of Devon.Not only do I aim to render the topography,I also want to evoke a particular mood or memory;be it the drama of a stormy day,the 'golden hour' of evening,or the quiet reflection of a moonlit night.My paintings can be viewed both here and at robindelaneyart.com
