I am an Exeter based artist make drawings and 3D objects in my home studio. I frequently use chance procedures as a starting point to make work which I then go on to modify using a process of iteration, improvisation and experimentation. I make kinetic sculptures driven by the wind or gravity and somewhat absurd, wooden, mechanical drawing machines which themselves make abstract artwork. I am also a working jazz musician and composer and make work, including graphic scores, which explores the connections between visual art and music. I am interested in networking with other local artists and working on joint projects and shows.
