Julie Cranwell is a Devon-based artist living in Bishopsteignton. Following a career in Microbiology and Biomedical Sciences in the NHS, she embraced painting after retirement.
Working mainly in watercolours and inks, Julie is inspired by the open coastal landscapes of Devon. Her vibrant use of colour reflects the movement, light, and changing character of the sea and surrounding countryside.
