On leaving a career in Primary Education I decided to explore my growing interest in art and entered in to a three year degree course at Plymouth University. This introduced me to the delights of working with clay as well as painting in a variety of mediums. After graduation I set up a studio and workshop in my home. My work is inspired by a love of the natural world and a need to immerse myself within the landscape. It is a personal interpretation of place through vibrant colour, strong texture and light. I welcome visitors to my studio by appointment.
