My passion is painting, which I use to communicate and advocate important causes. My pictures celebrate landscapes, nature, wildlife and gardens. My work highlights the value and beauty of the natural world.
Creativity is central to my practice, enabling exploration of colour, form, and composition. My aims are to entertain, engage and inspire the viewer.
I was born in England and studied at Oxford Brookes University and Heatherley’s School of Fine Art, London. My work has been exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (2008), Royal Society of Portrait Painters (2009), Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize (2010), BP Portrait Award (2011), and the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition (2014). I participated in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year (episode 5, 2019).
My work is held in collections including the Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers, Windsor Museum and Library, and private collections in the UK, France, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States.
