Originally from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, I am a contemporary artist now based in Devon. The simplification of natural forms and the reduction of painted objects into component solids make up the form of my paintings. I tend to favour vibrant bold colours and often try to maintain the intensity of the pure original colour straight from the tube. Drawing my inspiration from personal experiences, human connections and listening to people's stories.
I primarily work in acrylics and the vivid use of colour makes for my signature look. Colour plays a major role in my paintings & this is my way of expressing emotions or thoughts. One would think my colour combinations are thought out in advance but often these come together during the process.
