After starting my career as a primary school teacher , I became a professional artist after our youngest daughter started school. My work in oils ,forms something of a visual diary of my travels around the south West Coastline, which is a never ending source of inspiration. I am a studio artist , collecting my ideas and working them onto canvas back at home in the quiet away from the world. It's a meditative process. I also enjoy teaching whether it is doing school visits or running workshops locally . I love to help people of all ages and experience explore and engage in artistic practice as I believe it is in all of us to create.
