Henrietta works from her studio at Braunder Farm, Bere Alston near Tavistock. She teaches art courses, workshops for adults and offers one to one studio critiques and development for artists.

Henrietta is a member of the art collective CROW, Exeter.
She studied sculpture before turning to painting; drawing has always been at the core of her creative processes. She often works in Series'; setting up the studio with ten or twelve small paintings and perhaps four or so larger ones all at once; working them simultaneously. This process is spontaneous and freeing. 'My style is one of expressionism and movement, sculptural and energetic.
I enjoy working on different bodies of work in parallel where subjects and introspection can juxtapose and challenge each other.
I am not limited by subject matter - still life, landscape, figurative and narrative all have a place; the landscapes are visual stories of my personal and physical experiences developed in parallel with the processes of working oils. Still life is often a technical exercise; narrative self-reflective, contextual and inward. Expression and technique are intrinsically linked and rely on one another'.
Her current work investigates processes of drawing in graphite and charcoal in a series of 34 works and parallel and complementing these are her ongoing larger scale oil paintings entitled 'Songs of Myself'.

Henrietta began at Edinburgh College of Art studying Sculpture, transferring to Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, Canada and then graduating in 1994 with Bachelor of Fine Arts. This year she has been accepted onto the MA Fine Art at Plymouth Arts University.

She worked for twenty-three years in the Creative Industries, in a variety of roles from scenic carpenter to ACE Project Director.

In 2014 Henrietta returned to the studio and produced a body of charcoal and graphite drawings focusing on landscape and in particular the surrounding hedgerows and trees. A number of these went on to be redesigned as decals for a set of fine bone china tableware and are available both as originals and as Limited Edition Giclee prints. Since then her art practice has continued and she has produced numerous bodies of works in drawing and painting: Autumn 2020, The Walk 2021-2022, Corners, Tracks & Paths 2023-2024, Corners, Paths 2024-2025, Dartmoor 2025- 2026, Songs of Myself 2023- , There's Got to Be Something Before It's Nothing and then There's Something Again 2026 -
