Headlands, Avon Lane,
I did not paint for nearly 30 years and started painting again in 2012. Inspiration began with the world of ballet as I always had a fascination with muscle tones and was amazed by how dancers were able to hide the physicality of their performance.
I am inspired by winter trees and having recently moved to Westward Ho!have found further inspiration from the beautiful North Devon coastline.
Mediums include oils, acrylics, water soluble wax pastels, ink and bleach, plasticine, resins and rainfall.
I also enjoy doing lino cut, reduced lino cut prints and have made my own silk screens for printing.
At the bottom of the garden we have built a new studio/gallery space providing the perfect space for creating new works.
