Based in my Crediton studio, I am an artist and illustrator whose practice gained profound direction and clarity following a late diagnosis of autism and ADHD. This personal turning point heavily informed my recent studies at Falmouth University, where I graduated with a Master’s in Illustration with Distinction in 2025. Now focused on building my professional career, I am currently dedicating my time to expanding my portfolio and showcasing my art through public exhibitions, with a view to introducing interactive creative workshops in the future.
My work explores how the act of making can support thinking and wellbeing, serving as a vital ‘offloader’ for thought. Working across various scales, from intimate smaller pieces to impactful, large-scale projects, each of my works is a tactile record of sensory experiences that would otherwise remain unprocessed.
By combining intuitive print processes with layered drawing, painting, and rich textures, I map out my internal landscapes. I invite you into these maps to find joyful, peaceful moments. However, the level of access is intentional; depending on the piece, I may share the map in its entirety, or utilize masking techniques to deliberately hide certain areas, choosing exactly how much of the final story to reveal.
