Earth Resculpted Ceramics was born from a love of creating with clay.
I first started working in the ceramics industry in 1982 where I learnt numerous pottery skills that gave me a great foundation in pottery production techniques. I worked in local potteries for over 20 years and alongside this I also produced various ceramics and sculptures in my home studio and undertook various commissions.
Throughout the years creating in clay has always been a part of my life that I have really enjoyed, although running my own painting and decorating business for the last 26 years has restricted my time to do both.
I have recently scaled back my decorating business to give me more free time to get back to ceramics.
I am now creating sculptures in both fine earthenware and stoneware clays, I am also producing designs that I then take plaster moulds from to enable me to do small production runs of slip casting.
My other method of work is by throwing on a potters wheel.
I have recently reopened my Etsy shop with some new designs that I have been producing and I'm currently hoping to show my sculptures in local galleries in the near future.
