I’m a British artist and visual storyteller. Painting provides a tactile contrast to my digital photography and filming work, offering a space where imagination and observation flourish. I build each painting in layers, mixing spontaneity with intentional thought to create depth and meaning.
For over two decades, I lived and worked across Europe, Africa, and Latin America, experiences that continue to shape my perspective. Now based in Devon, I find fresh inspiration in the changing skies and familiar contours of this re-found family home.
Working mainly with oil paints, pencil, charcoal, and photography, I draw on training in painting (St Ives School of Painting, Adriano Farinella, Florence Academy of Art), documentary photography (MA, University of the Arts London) and geography (BA, University of St Andrews).
