My rugs are born in the glaciers that scour Iceland, the wadis of Jordan, in the seas and rivers and moors of Devon. I weave by hand to capture and reshape the rich colours and patterns of nature on my large floor loom.
Scandinavian bound-weave structures are used to create lively and intricate designs using an Axminster rug wool weft on an Irish linen warp.
I am a member of the Devon Weavers Workshop, based near Totnes and of MAKE Southwest where some of my work can be seen in the shop.
