My professional background is in textile design and botanical illustration, and drawing is an integral part of my practice; I love to spend time observing and studying a subject - a shell, a plant, insect, fungi, feathers - recording that moment of their existence and mine.
My work as a designer gives me another way of looking at the world too, finding patterns and rhythms and exploring colour relationships.
I love all sorts of media, working mainly in watercolour and oils, and I am based at my studio at Voyage Art in Teignmouth, where I sell my work as well as make it, and visitors are always welcome!
I have exhibited my work throughout Devon and also run workshops.
