Ever since I was a young child growing up in Torquay, I have been drawing, painting, knitting and creating. I gained a B.A. Hons degree in Fine Art in 1981, and have continued to work with both textiles and paint, learning also to needlepoint and weave.
My creative process begins with an experience of an event, memory, place, landscape or person. I love to experiment, to study, and to work with colour in many forms and materials, creating pieces that are joyful and beautiful.
