I found pottery upon my retirement in 2015 and quickly became enthralled with the process of throwing. I love trying to coax the clay towards the shape and form I have in mind. I get lost in the moment and time passes by hardly noticed
I try to make pieces that can be both functional and attractive . The majority of the pieces that I make are porcelain. Occasionally I will use white or buff stoneware. A combination of glazes, oxides and stains are used to enhance their appearance
