Mark Murton

“Devon’s sunken lanes are beautiful, mysterious places – wildlife corridors that connect habitat fragments, allowing wildlife to move between these spaces.”  They allow me to feel immersed in nature.

Created by man in times when we tread more lightly on the earth –  if you listen closely you may hear the ghosts of the drovers – fellow Devonians from distant times.

I sometimes walk these routes.  But other times there isn’t a destination in mind, just a need to “be” in nature.”
