Victoria Clarke and Matt Simmonds

Victoria is influenced by and obsessed with the solace, captivation and drama found in nature and loves to create pigments using Devon earth, sand and rock. Matt uses loose gestural mark-making, along with bold colours, to produce both abstract and representational works. Influences include Mindfulness, repetition and emotional response.

Three Artists @ Hope

Thyme and Space by Rose-Marie Stidston

I work with stoneware clay forming different pieces from images gathered in my head from walking Dartmoor or the coastal regions of Devon and Cornwall. My work has been described as subjective, textural, rustic and tactile, which reflects the different surfaces I create allowing the viewer to make their own interpretation.

Umborne Bridge Studio

Anna Brewster, Alex Boon, Zee Jones, Naomi Brookes and Jane Llewellyn are joining forces to provide a visual feast of modern landscapes and nature journaling art, silver clay jewellery inspired by nature and vibrant felted wall hangings, hats and other items. The Tin Shed Studio

This work is a move away from painting. It explores the importance of ‘the image’ to my own practice,and to the cathartic nature of the subject to my well-being.this exhibition is an experimental array of pencil,charcoal and pastel on paper, exploring the medium within the confines of dark evenings and candlelight.

Terry meets Julie

Our passion is working with Kiln fused glass & Screen Printing, we find it has an expansive nature, fluid & flowing, helping us generate imaginative textures, forms & ideas. Always colourful & light reflective, glass is suitable for many applications both indoors & in the garden.

Susie Honnor

I hand-print onto linen using potaoes (mainly) and colour fast fabric inks. I work intuitively and I am inspired by the landscape and granite of Dartmoor, by colour and by music. My unique cushions and lampshades are made in editions of two and I hope that each one brings joy.

Sue Side SGFA

A member of The Society of Graphic Fine Art, Sue creates atmospheric drawings, etchings & portraits in ink, charcoal & graphite. Alongside recent portrait commissions, there will be new drawings & etchings inspired by long walks with Bess the Lurcher in North Devon. Susan Thomson

I trained in graphic design before studying botanical art and watercolour and use a slightly freer, less scientific approach while maintaining the realism. Since moving to Devon I have started painting birds inspired by the bird reserves and lovely walks locally. My work includes an eclectic mix of botanical, birds, animals and graphic imaging.

Work includes paper cuts and large scale geometric embossings incorporating: cutting, folding, inking and stitching the surface … exploring additional layers of texture and three dimensionality.
